Vienna, May 10, 1944, Augustinian canon in Klosterneuburg, 1939 professor of theology and Christian philosophy at the Abbey School; directed an Austrian liberation movement in 1938-1940, was betrayed in 1940, arrested, sentenced to death for preparations for high treason and executed in the Vienna Provincial Court (Landesgericht).
