Schor, Egid (Aegydius), baptised Innsbruck, Sept. 2, 1627, 
d. Innsbruck (Tyrol), July 2, 1701. Painter; son and pupil of 
Hans  Schor, father of Johann Ferdinand  Schor. One of the founders of 
baroque ceiling paintings in the Tyrol, mostly worked in Innsbruck.

Wall paintings and oil paintings: Innsbruck cathedral, 1673; 
collegiate church Wilten, 1670/1671, 1696; Ferdinandeum (both 
Innsbruck); Neustift near Brixen/Bressanone (South Tyrol); Stams, from 
1691; Rattenberg Servite Abbey (both in Tyrol).
