Schroecksnadel, Peter, b. Innsbruck (Tirol), July 30, 1941, 
entrepreneur. 1964 established the Sitour company, for which he 
acquired a world licence for ski piste signage and which he then 
expanded to an advertising and promotion group. 1998 established the 
television channel TW 1; shareholder of the private radio station 
Welle 1-Innsbrucker Stadtradio and the regional television channel 
"Suedtirol heute"; owner of several mountain railways. Since 
1990 president of the Austrian Skiing Association, where his marketing 
strategies have been particularly successful.
