b. Steyrermuehl (Upper Austria), May 14, 1881, 
d. Linz, Aug. 11, 1928 Linz (Upper Austria), architect. Studied at the 
Vienna University of Technology with F.  Ohmann, who strongly 
influenced his subsequent works. From 1905 in Ohmann's atelier and his 
assistant at the Special School of Architecture, from 1909 architect 
at the Municipal Planning Department in Linz, from 1921 freelance 
architect, from 1926 university professor at the University of 
Technology in Graz.

Grammar school (Bundesgymnasium) for girls, Linz, 1910; 
extension of the Eferding city hall, 1912; kindergarten in Mauthausen; 
country house Melichar, Puchenau, 1914; workers' home in Steyrermuehl, 
1919; additional storey for the main post office in Linz, 1924-1926; 
Gmunden brewery, 1925; Gemeindehaus Laakirchen, 1925-1927; crematorium 
and urn cemetery in Linz, 1925-1929; residential buildings 
Figulystrasse 16 and 29, Linz, 1926-1927; secondary-modern school 
(Hauptschule) Ebensee, 1927 (all in Upper Austria).
