b. Inzing (Tyrol), Sept. 8, 1932, sportswoman, competition casting 
(dry-fly fishing technique, accuracy, long throw and skill with rod 
and line contests) and later archery (world vice-champion). 18 times 
world champion in competition casting between 1964 and 1970. Her 
husband Richard S. (world champion 1969) and her daughter Annemarie S. 
(four-time world champion, in 1970 at age 14 youngest world champion) 
also achieved world renown in competition casting. After withdrawing 
from active sports M. S. opened a sports equipment store in Vienna.
