Schwanthaler, Franz Matthias, b. Ried im Innkreis (Upper 
Austria), June 20, 1714, d. Ried im Innkreis, April 16, 
1782, sculptor; son of Thomas  Schwanthaler, brother of Johann Franz  
Schwanthaler. His works are in Aspach, Hohenzell, Lengau and Waldzell 
(all in Upper Austria).
