b. Prague (Czech Republic), April 13, 1886, d. Reutte (Tyrol), Dec. 27, 1970. Engineer and industrialist. Pioneer of powder metallurgy (1929 "titanite"), founded the Plansee Metallwerke works of the Plansee Group in Reutte in 1921.
