Sea Eagle; wingspan approximately 2.5 m, has a wedge-shaped tail 
which is white in adult birds, huge yellow bill, its head is yellowish 
white; dark in juvenile birds. Has been extinct as a breeding bird in 
Austria since 1960, but occurs as a migrant especially in the water 
meadows along the rivers Danube, March and Thaya. Needs hunting areas 
rich in fish and water birds as well as old forests with large 
deciduous trees offering protection and free flying off and landing 
places; emblem of the Republic of Austria.
