!!!Sekler, Eduard F

b. Vienna, Sept. 30, 1920, architect. Studied at the University of 
Technology in Vienna (1945-1954 also assistant there) and at the 
Warburg Institute in London. Since 1945 atelier of his own, from 1954 
guest professor at Harvard University in Cambridge, from 1960 
professor; 1962-1965 taught at the Carpenter Center for the Visual 
Arts, was its head 1966-1976; UNESCO consultant for the preservation 
of monuments. Contributed greatly to the preservation of the cultural 
heritage in Kathmandu Valley (Nepal). Designed buildings in Austria 
and the USA.
