villas dating from the turn of the century; Suedbahn Hotel (built in 
1880 by F. Schueller), Grand Hotel Erzherzog Johann (built in 1898/99 
by Fellner and Helmer); Hotel Panhans (built in 1911, revitalised in 
1982); neo-Gothic Semmering chapel by G. v. Neumann (1890-1900).
