b. Steinakirchen am Forst, Lower Austria, July 16, 1936, composer; 
brother of Walter  Sengstschmid, father of Wolfgang  Sengstschmid. 
1987-1997 professor at the Graz University of Music; composed  
Harmonic Twelve-Tone Music (Klangreihenmusik) following the principles 
of O.  Steinbauer's dodecaphony.
