b. Vienna, Jan. 13, 1895, 
d. Vienna, May 11, 1987, electrical engineer. Studied mechanical 
and electrical engineering at Vienna University of Technology as well 
as mathematics and physics at the University of Vienna. From 1939 to 
1945 and again from 1952 to 1970 Professor for Electrical Plant and 
Equipment at the Vienna University of Technology, Rector from 1942-45.
