b. Kybarti (Estonia), Dec. 24, 1931, Kammersaenger* (tenor) and 
intendant. Member of the Vienna Volksoper, one of the best-known 
operetta singers; gave up singing for health reasons, since 1992 
artistic director of the  Moerbisch Lake Festival.
