alt. 367 m, pop. 7,988, area 38.15 km%%sup 2/%, ancient 
centre of small iron industry in the Steyr Valley, west of Steyr. - 
Hospital, locksmith´s shop run by the "Lebenshilfe" 
charity, Volksheim, waterworks, plastic and metal working industry, 
building trade, summer tourism (15,006 overnight stays). - Gothic 
pseudo-basilica church (14%%sup th/%  century); palace (around 1600).
