!!!Silvesterpatent

Silvesterpatent: law signed by Emperor Franz Joseph I on December
31, 1851, which repealed basic rights and the constitution of
March 4, 1849, which had never entered into force. What remained was
the principle of equality of all citizens before the law, and the
abolition of economic servitude. The Silvesterpatent formed the basis
of Neo-absolutism. The so called "principles" (which
regulated administrative and judicial services and were published at
about the same time), were also valid for Hungary and the territories
under Hungarian control. The Silvesterpatent was drawn up by
K. F. v. Kuebeck, and initiated by A. v. Bach.
