Sina, Simon Georg, b. Vienna, Oct. 15, 1810, d. Vienna, 
April 15, 1876, banker; son of Baron Georg Simon von  Sina. Sponsored 
the construction of the University of Athens and the Greek church on 
Fleischmarkt in Vienna and supported the construction of other 
culturally important buildings in Vienna; 1874 member of the Upper 
Chamber of the Reichsrat.
