!!!Sistowa, Frieden von

Sistova, Peace of: signed on August 4, 1791 in Swischtow (Bulgaria), 
ended the war between Austria and the Turkish Empire; the borders were 
re-established as they had been 1788 before Austria had entered the 
war. The Peace of Sistova ended the last war the Austro-Hungarian 
monarchy waged against the Turks.
