Soboth, Styria, municipality in the district of Deutschlandsberg, alt. 
1,065 m, population 492, area 42.43 km%%sup 2/%, situated on 
the eastern slope of the Koralpe Mountain, near the borders with 
Carinthia and Slovenia; the municipality consists of two parts, 
Ober-Soboth and Unter-Soboth. - Air quality monitoring station, 
customs post, River Feistritz dam and Soboth reservoir, both run by 
KELAG; summer tourism on a small scale. - Parish church (consecrated 
in 1704).
