Solar, Lola, b. Brunn a. Gebirge (Lower Austria), May 13, 
1904, d. Moedling (Lower Austria), May 20, 1989, teacher and 
politician (Austrian People´s Party, OeVP). 1945-1970 leader of 
the women´s movement in the province of Lower Austria, 1950-1970 
leader of the Austrian women´s movement on the federal level; 
1955-1959 chairperson of the European Women's Union; 1949-1970 member 
of the Nationalrat.
