Soronics, Franz, b. Eisenstadt (Burgenland), July 28, 1920, 
provincial civil servant and politician (Austrian People´s 
Party, OeVP). Member and 2nd President of the Landtag of Burgenland, 
1972-1977 Deputy Landeshauptmann, 1956-1959 member of the Bundesrat, 
1959-1971 member of the Nationalrat, 1963-1966 Staatssekretaer in the 
Federal Ministry of the Interior, 1966-1968 Staatssekretaer in the 
Federal Ministry of Social Administration, 1968-1970 Federal Minister 
of the Interior.
