b. Vienna, June 5, 1954, composer. Lecturer at the Vienna Academy of 
Music 1979-1981; since 1981 free-lance composer in Vienna. Uses an 
extended twelve-tone system in which emotional elements (rhythm, 
melody) play a more important role; co-founder of the "Ensemble for 
new Music" (1982).
