Sparbach, Lower Austria, village in the district of Moedling, alt. 
350 m, southwest of Vienna, cadastral district of the market town 
of Hinterbruehl. - Nature park with game preserve (since 1962, area 
408 hectares, wild boar, fallow deer, mouflons etc.). - Castle 
(18%%sup th/%  century); ruins of Johannstein Castle (destroyed in 
1529).
