1877, d. Vienna, Nov. 8, 1947, teacher and politician 
(Austrian Social Democratic Party, SPOe). 1920-1934 Councillor of the 
City of Vienna; imprisoned for political reasons in 1934; 1945-1947 
Deputy Mayor of Vienna, 1920-1927 member of the Bundesrat, 1945-1947 
member of the Nationalrat.
