Prohibited Areas, areas which are reserved for the Austrian Federal 
Armed Forces for permanent or temporary military use (manoeuvres), 
mostly military training areas or shooting ranges. Walking and driving 
on such areas is prohibited and liable to punishment according to a 
Federal Act of 1963. The largest  Military Training Areas are those in 
Allentsteig, Bruckneudorf and Hochfilzen.
