Spitzy, Hans, b. St. Leonhard (Styria), Dec. 21, 1872, 
d. Vienna, July 22, 1956, orthopaedist, father of Karl Hermann  
Spitzy. 1906-1913 university professor in Graz, then in Vienna. 1923 
Head of the Orthopaedic Hospital in Vienna, lecturer at the Institute 
for PE Teacher Training. Pioneer work in the field of PE, esp. with 
small children.
