Sports Association: The highest Austrian sports association is the 
Austrian Federal Sports Association (Bundes-Sportorganisation, BSO), 
founded in 1969, seat in Vienna. The administration of sports matters 
is subject to the Federal Chancellery. Umbrella organisations of 
sports in Austria are the Arbeitsgemeinschaft fuer Sport und 
Koerperkultur in Oesterreich ( ASKOe), the  Allgemeine Sportverband 
Oesterreichs (ASVOe) and the Austrian  Turn- und Sportunion. The 
Austrian  Olympic Committee (OeOC) deals with issues concerning the 
Olympic Games, individual kinds of sports are governed by separate 
associations.
