Spour, Robert, b. Linz (Upper Austria), March 8, 1961, 
composer. 1986-1991 studied piano at the Bruckner Conservatory in 
Linz; since 1980 has played improvised music in concerts; since 1984 
has composed works for various instrumentations; since 1992 has 
conceived interactive multi-media and dance performances with Klaus 
Obermaier. Combines composed and improvised music as well as acoustic 
and electroacoustic music; creates composition and improvisation 
concepts for jazz ensembles; commissioned by internationally renowned 
ensembles (Kronos Quartet, Art Ensemble of Chicago etc.).

Drei Saetze fuer Orchester, Computer und Live-Elektronik, 1992; 
Platz, 1995 (250 musicians: choir, string orchestra, 2 jazz 
ensembles, big band, 2 brass bands); Bluster, 1996 (clarinet 
quintet, cassette recorder).
