d. Vienna, July 31, 1978, writer and politician (League of 
Independents "Verband der Unabhaengigen" (VdU), predecessor of the 
Austrian Freedom Party). Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the VdU Vienna, 
1949-1956 member of the Nationalrat, from 1953 member without party 
affiliation.
