!!!St. Martin, Schloss

St. Martin, palace, in Graz, in the district of Strassgang. From the 
11%%sup th/%  century provostry of Admont Abbey, converted into a 
Renaissance Palace by A. and J. Nachtigall in 1557, centre for adult 
education since 1914. Interior decoration of the church 1738-1740; the 
high altar with 3 life-sized groups of knights is an important work by 
J. T. Stammel.
