St. Martin im Innkreis, Upper Austria, market town in the district 
of Ried im Innkreis, alt. 372 m, pop. 1,595, 
area 8.89 km%%sup 2/%, on the Antiesen River. - knitting 
mill, slaughterhouse, electrical industry. - Parish church remodelled 
in Baroque style (1781) with altar decoration by the Schwanthaler 
family and paintings by C. Wink (around 1780); palace (18%%sup th/% 
 century) with garden; old chestnut avenue and old inn formerly 
run by the Schwanthaler family (Biedermeier building, 1827).
