St. Martin im Muehlkreis, Upper Austria, market town in the district 
of Rohrbach im Muehlkreis, alt. 549 m, pop. 3,239, 
area 34.86 km%%sup 2/%, in the southern part of the 
Muehlviertel Region; comprises cadastral district of  Neuhaus an der 
Donau. - Boating harbour, sporting grounds; production of natural 
stones, production of cooling systems, building industry, brewery in 
Adstorf (first documented mention in 1229, oldest brewery in Austria), 
trade. - Late Gothic parish church, exterior remodelled in Baroque 
style, Gothic glass paintings (15%%sup th/%  century), with new 
Gothic interior; presbytery (17%%sup th/%  century); Neuhaus 
Palace.
