St. Radegund bei Graz, Styria, municipality in the district of 
Graz-Umgebung, alt. 717 m, pop. 1971, area 
21.60 km%%sup 2/%, high-altitude climatic health resort (86,647 
overnight stays in 1992) situated on the south-east slope of the 
Schoeckl mountain (1,445 m). - Rehabilitation centre, spa 
building with a therapy station, sanatorium, relaxation centre, 
weather station of the Central Institute for Meteorology and 
Geodynamics, cable-way to the top of Schoeckl mountain; there are 
approximately 20 unused springs containing radon formerly used as 
drinking fountains in the municipality, today alternative therapy 
methods (e.g. biothermal therapy) available. - Late Gothic parish 
church (1490-1513) with frescoes (1506); Calvary (1768-1773); ruins of 
Castle Ehrenfels.
