tourist resort (17,023 overnight stays) in the uppermost section of 
the Styrian Mur Valley. - Ammunition depot and training camp of the 
Federal Armed Forces; building industry, clothes factory. - 
Late-Gothic parish church (1473-1505) with fresco of St. Christopher 
(around 1520-1530), altar piece (1792) by J. Lederwasch and old bells 
(14%%sup th/%  century, 1554); Renaissance Goppelsbach Palace (started 
in 1587) with arcades.
