Stankovski, Alexander, b. Munich (Germany), Feb. 22, 1968, 
composer; son of Ernst  Stankovski. Has lived in Vienna since 1975; 
1984-1990 studied at the Vienna Musikhochschule (now University of 
Music and Performing Arts); 1990-1994 studied composition in Frankfurt 
am Main; since then freelance composer and co-editor of the music 
magazine "ton". After intensive study of various musical 
traditions, S. is now working on his own grammar of composition.
