!!!Stanzer Tal

Stanz Valley, Tirol, western lateral valley of Inn Valley; leading 
from Sankt Anton am Arlberg (alt. 1,284 m) to Stanz bei Landeck 
(alt. 1,038 m); comprises the lower section of the River  Rosanna 
and the  Sanna Valley. The River Trisanna ( Paznaun Valley) flows into 
the River Rosanna at Burgfried (alt. 1,032 m). The Stanz Valley 
is flanked in the north by the Lechtal Alps and in the south by the 
Verwall Mountains (along the River Sanna by the Samnaun Mountains). In 
the Rosanna Valley, almost exclusively grassland farming with cattle 
breeding and some dairy farming, along the River Sanna, the mild 
climate also favours fruit-growing (plums). The  Arlbergbahn mountain 
railway and the  Arlberg Road Tunnel connect the Stanz Valley with the 
 Klostertal valley in Vorarlberg. Other villages: Pettneu am Arlberg 
(alt. 1,222 m), Schnann (alt. 1,186 m), Flirsch (alt. 
1,154 m), Tobadill (alt. 1,138 m), Pians (alt. 856 m).
