1894, d. Vienna, Jan. 14, 1962, farmer and politician (Austrian 
People´s Party, OeVP). 1932-1934 member of the Landtag of Lower 
Austria, 1934-1938 and 1945-1949 member of the Provincial Government, 
1949-1962 Landeshauptmann of Lower Austria.
