stays) on the eastern shore of Lake Attersee, at the foot of the 
Hoellengebirge mountains; landing stage for ships cruising the lake. - 
Recreation centre of the Federal Armed Forces, Methodist educational 
centre, recreational area, summer bathing establishment. Furniture 
industry, concrete works. - Late-Gothic parish church (1516), 
single-pillared nave with net ribbed and stellar vaults, neo-Gothic 
interior. House where G.  Mahler composed his music. Summer concerts 
(since 1991).
