Steiner, Dietmar, b. Wels (Upper Austria), Dec. 31, 1951, 
architect. Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with Ernst A. 
 Plischke and G.  Peichl. 1980-1982 Secretary-General of the Austrian 
Architecture Association (Oesterreichische Gesellschaft fuer 
Architektur); 1983-1990 lecturer at the University of Applied Art in 
Vienna; since 1989 has headed his own consulting office for project 
development and city planning; since 1994 director of the architecture 
centre Architekturzentrum Wien in Vienna.
