Stekl, Konrad, b. Dubrovnik, Croatia (then Ragusa), July 21, 1901, 
d. Graz (Styria), May 9, 1979, composer, conductor. Teacher at the 
musical conservatory in Graz; founder and conductor of the 
"Ringorchester" in Graz; from 1949 taught at the music school 
"Kapfenberger Musikschule". Founded music schools in Judenburg, 
Fohnsdorf, Zeltweg and elsewhere; awarded the Austrian State Prize 
1957.

Kammerkavalier; Marino Falieri. - Symphony: Goldene Traenen. - 
Requiem: Der Verduner Altar. - Songs, chamber music and choral works.
