!!!Steppenläufer

Tumbleweed, group of plants (sea-kale, sea holly, saltwort, maiden's 
breath and others) typical of the flora of the ( Pannonian Climatic 
Zone) in the steppe areas of Burgenland, the Vienna Basin and 
Weinviertel region. Once the seeds have matured, the dried-up plants 
are uprooted by the wind and blown over large distances, scattering 
seeds.
