Stiglbauer, Karl, b. Droesing (Lower Austria), July 14, 1927, 
geographer. 1971-1981 Managing Director of the Austrian association 
for Regional planning ("Oesterreichische Raumordnungskonferenz"), 
1975-1993 university professor in Vienna, 1989-1991 president of the 
Austrian Geographical Society. Numerous publications on regional 
planning and research.
