Produced a Latin-German dictionary ("Der Stowasser", 1894), translated Greek epigrams into Upper Austrian dialect and Upper Austrian dialect poems called "Gstanzln" into Greek ("Griechische Schnadahuepfeln", 1903). The "Stowasser" became a widely used Latin-German school dictionary published in numerous editions (1994 latest completely revised edition with the new cover designed by F.
