''Haus-, Hof-'' ''und Staatsarchiv'' (Dynastic, Court and State 
Archives), from 1923 to 1934 Director of the Archives of the 
Municipality of Vienna; from 1924 Professor at the University of 
Vienna. Chief fields of activity: documentary research and  Austrian 
constitutional history during the Middle Ages.
