Strassgang, Styria, 16%%sup th/%  district of Graz, located on an old 
transportation route dating back to Roman times. - Parish church, with 
Romanesque core, 1461 late-Gothic extensions, altar painting by 
H. A. Weissenkirchner (1686) in the north chapel; church of St. 
Florian on Florianiberg hill (1597);  Sankt Martin; Rudolfswarte 
observation point on Buchkogel mountain (656 m). Strassgang 
features the last remaining vineyards in Graz, wine taverns on 
Kehlberg hill; old vintners´ houses.
