Streeruwitz, Marlene, b. Baden (Lower Austria), June 28, 1950, 
radio and theatre producer, writer. Studied law, Slavonic languages 
and cultures and art history in Vienna. Her dramas reflect a 
provocative and disillusioning attitude and often contain scenes of 
blatant violence denouncing egoistic, insincere and corrupt behaviour 
as dominant social phenomena.
