Strengberg Hills, Lower Austria, sand and gravel hills 
(300-400 m) descending precipitously to the River Danube, in the 
Austrian Pre-Alps west of Amstetten; traversed by the Vienna- Linz 
federal road and the A 1 motorway. The western railway line leads 
round the Strengberg Hills in the south; main villages: Oed, 
Strengberg.
