b. Innsbruck (Tyrol), March 9, 1927, 
d. Pflach (Tyrol) Sept. 12, 1997, actor. From 1948-1954 member of the  
Exl-Buehne, from 1956 member of the Vienna  Volkstheater company, 
where he remained for over 40 years. His artistic expertise ranges 
from "Ferdinand" in Schiller´s "Kabale und Liebe" to the father 
in Kerstin Specht´s "Lila"; also played in popular television 
serials such as "Der alte Richter" and "Familie Leitner". From 1968 
President of the Austrian trade union of stage workers.
