Stubach Valley, province of Salzburg, southern lateral valley of the 
Oberpinzgau region ( Salzach, River), drained by the Stubache river. 
The Stubach Valley begins at Koehlbichl and extends to the Weisssee 
reservoir (2,250 m). The Stubach valley is the location of the 3 
hydro-electric power stations operated by the Austrian Railways: 
Uttendorf (27 MW), Schneiderau (35 MW) and Enzingerboden 
(80 MW). The western part of the Hohe Tauern national park begins 
south-east of the Stubach valley.
