d. Vienna, July 31, 1997, editor, writer and literary critic. 
1948-1954 as editor-in-chief responsible for the magazine 
"Wissenschaft und Weltbild", lecturer at the Catholic Academy in 
Vienna, 1957-1964 editor-in-chief of the publishing company 
"Stiasny-Verlag" in Graz, publisher of the paperback series "Das 
oesterreichische Wort" as well as founder and secretary general 
(1965-1978) of the Documentation Centre for New Austrian Literature.
