!!!Suppantschitsch, Maximilian

Suppantschitsch, Maximilian, b. Vienna, April 13, 1865, 
d. Krems (Lower Austria), Jan. 19, 1953, landscape painter and graphic 
artist. Studied under E.  Peithner von Lichtenfels at the Vienna 
College of Fine Arts, study trips throughout Austria-Hungary and to 
Italy, 1900 one of the founders of the  Hagenbund (artists´ 
association). Produced paintings and numerous sketches and detailed 
studies of architectural and popular scenes of the Wachau region.
